OUR FACILITIES

OUR FACILITIES

The sports hall allows for activities such as football & dancing etc and the remainder is set up with more sedate activities such as board games & jigsaws. We also have a breakout room for quiet times, videos and dare we mention it…homework! When the weather is good we try to utilise our outdoor area.

TRANSPORTATION

TRANSPORTATION

We have various modes of transport to aid drop offs and pickups to and from the schools which include a 17 Seater and a 12 seater minibus. As well as “walking bus” to and from Touch School due to the adjacent proximity. In nicer weather, other schools enjoy walking to the club instead of using the minibuses.

MEALS

MEALS

We provide an option of cereals, toast and a selection of fruit for breakfast. Our snack menu is made up of suggestions taken from the children’s care plans. During the Holidays the club still provides breakfast & pm snack, however, the children are required to bring a packed lunch from home and a water bottle.

HOLIDAYS

HOLIDAYS

We are open for the majority of school holidays (and in-service days) however we are closed at the Christmas break. We have an exciting and varied itinerary which includes trips and outings to many varied local (and further afield) locations. We are also open to any new trip suggestions from parents.

MEET THE TEAM

Our staff are fully trained in “playworker” requirements and interact with the children at all levels. The staffing ratios are in line with the guidelines and we are fully inspected by the Care Inspectorate.

I enjoy the fun and “bustle” of the club and seeing the enjoyment of the children each day, as well as the “behind the scenes” paperwork and other business necessities.

Gail’s passion for the business has certainly rubbed off on me and i thoroughly enjoy working at Garvock.
